How do I get the Verified badge?

Upload a certificate under Certifications on My Profile; once Fitiva has checked it by hand, the Verified badge shows on your profile and in the search.

The Verified badge shows that Fitiva has checked at least one of your certificates by hand.

  1. Open My Profile and find Certifications.
  2. Press Add a certification.
  3. Fill in the Title, the Issuer, when it was Issued and, if it has one, Expires (if any).
  4. Add the Certificate file (PDF or image, max 8 MB).
  5. Press Submit for review.

What happens next

The certificate shows Pending review. Fitiva checks it by hand, usually within about 24 hours. Then it shows Verified or Not approved, and you get a notification. With at least one verified certificate, the Verified badge appears on your public profile and in the coach search, your credentials show under Verified credentials, and you rank a little higher.

Good to know

  • When a certificate expires, it no longer counts. If it was your only verified one, the badge disappears until you upload a current one.
  • If a certificate was not approved, upload a clearer scan or a different document.
  • You can coach and be listed without any certificate. The badge is a trust signal, not a requirement.
  • Remove deletes a certificate.
