Health notes tell a coach what they should know before training you. They stay private until you choose to share them.

Add a note

  1. Open My Profile in the menu and scroll to Health and limitations.
  2. Tap Add.
  3. Choose What is it?: Pain, Injury, Condition, Surgery, Medication, Allergy, Pregnancy or Other.
  4. Describe it In a few words, for example "chronic lower back pain".
  5. If you like, add Where (optional), Since (year, optional), How much does it limit you? (optional) and Details for your coach (optional), for example "no heavy deadlifts, squats are fine".
  6. Leave Still current on while it applies, and tap Save.

Share it with your coaches

Switch on Share with my coaches. From then on these coaches see your notes: every coach you train with now, a coach you asked to join in the last 30 days, and a coach you have a session with within 30 days of today. Past, archived and suspended coaches do not. Under the switch you see who can see them right now.

In the appSwitch on Share with my coaches to let your coaches see your notes.

You can switch sharing off any time, and your coaches no longer see the notes.

Ava and your notes: Ava reads your notes before she gives you training or supplement advice, and she can add a note when you tell her about something. If you ask her to share your notes, you confirm it on a card first. While sharing is on, a coach who asks Ava about you may get an answer that uses your notes.

Good to know

  • Write down only what a coach needs to train you safely. A doctor's advice always comes first.
  • Something no longer applies? Switch off Still current or remove the note.
