What do the calorie ring and energy balance show?
The ring shows what you ate against your daily target; the energy line adds the workouts you logged today on top.
The ring under Today's nutrition shows how much you have eaten against your daily calorie target and how much is left. Workouts you log today count on top.

The ring
- The number in the middle is what you have eaten today, of your target.
- left is your target minus what you ate plus today's training. Go past it and the ring says over.
- With training logged, a line under the ring says how much of it is training, for example "incl. 300 kcal training".
The energy line
- Eaten: the calories of today's meals
- Training: what today's logged workouts burned
- Net: eaten minus training
- Next to it: how far you are under your target (deficit), over it (surplus) or at target. It waits for your first meal of the day.
Why training counts on top: your everyday activity is already part of your target. Only workouts you log add to it. No workout yet today? Tap log to add one.
Your history: tap the ring or View stats to see your intake, the calories you burned and your workouts over a Week, a Month or a Year.
Good to know: Ava gives you the same numbers, for example when you ask "how much can I still eat today?".
