Does Fitiva work without a connection?

Fitiva caches its own shell, so opening it in a gym basement or on the subway shows the app rather than a browser error page.

What it cannot do is show or save your data, because that lives on the server. Offline you will see empty screens and anything you try to log will fail rather than queue up. Wait for signal and log it then; the date is yours to set, so a meal or a workout logged later still lands on the right day.

Adding Fitiva to your home screen makes it open faster and, on an iPhone, is also what makes push notifications possible.
