Is there a minimum age?

You must be at least 16 to use Fitiva. That is in our Terms, and it is the age of consent for online services in Germany. At sign-up we ask for your date of birth, and under 16 the setup stops with You must be at least 16 to use Fitiva.

Between 16 and 18, Fitiva is more careful

• Body photos and numbers save as usual, but we do not estimate body fat from photos, because the figures are made for adult bodies.
• Your calorie target is your maintenance. We do not work out a deficit or a surplus, because a growing body needs what it burns. For a goal beyond that, talk to your parents, your coach or a doctor.
• The supplement plan has no performance products. Write down only what a doctor advised.
• You can correct your date of birth, but not remove it while you are under 18.

Your date of birth is private. We use it to keep advice right for your age. It is not part of any public profile.

If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we delete their data.
