A photo will not upload
Use a JPG or PNG, and on an iPhone set the camera format to Most Compatible if your photos will not load.
Most failed uploads are a format your browser cannot read, often HEIC, the photo format iPhones use by default.
Fix it
- Pick the photo again as a JPG or PNG. Most phones can share or save a photo as JPG.
- On an iPhone, so new photos work every time: open Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and choose Most Compatible.
- Try the upload again.
What each place accepts
- Coach profile photo: JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC is not supported there.
- Athlete profile photo: JPG or PNG.
- Meal photos: if Fitiva cannot read the image, it asks for a JPG or PNG. A photo with nothing recognisable on it does not use up a scan.
- Certificates: a PDF or an image of up to 8 MB. A bigger file is refused, so try a smaller scan.
Location in photos. Fitiva removes the location data from photos in posts, courses and exercises. Videos are uploaded as they are, so they can still contain where they were filmed.
