What does the AI (Ava) see about me?

Only what the feature you use needs, sent to Claude by Anthropic, which does not train its models on it.

Fitiva's AI features run on Claude, an AI model by Anthropic: the meal scan, AI training and nutrition plans, the progress and body photo analysis, logging a workout by describing it, and Ava. When you or your coach use one of them, the content it needs is sent to Anthropic to produce the answer. Your data reaches Anthropic only through these features.

What a feature can send, depending on which one you use:

  • a meal or body photo, or the meal you typed
  • your training and nutrition history, and the water you log
  • the figures a plan needs: age, weight, body fat and activity level
  • when you ask Ava about training, supplements or your health notes: your health notes and your supplement plan, so she can take a complaint into account or tell you that a product needs a doctor's advice first

When your coach asks Ava about you, it can include your name, those figures, the food and training you logged in recent weeks and your supplement plan. Your health notes only if you share them with your coaches (Share with my coaches on My Profile).

What Anthropic does with it. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models. It is processed to answer the request, kept for a limited period for abuse monitoring, then deleted.

Reporting an answer. This is wrong under an answer from Ava sends the whole conversation, as you see it, to the Fitiva team so we can fix it. Only when you press it.

Rather not use AI? Do not use these features and do not open Ava. Everything else in Fitiva works without them. There is no separate AI switch in Settings.

AI answers can be wrong and are not medical advice. For health questions, talk to a doctor.
