How do I find a coach?

Open Find a coach, search by name, city or speciality, and open a coach's profile to book a session or send a message.

Finding a coachFor athletes2 min read

Open Find a coach in the menu. On your phone it is Find coach in the bottom bar as long as you have no coach. You can browse without an account.

  1. Switch between List and Map.
  2. Search by name, city or speciality, or tap a sport such as Strength, Running or Yoga. Only sports with at least one coach show up.
  3. Tap Use my exact location to sort by distance from where you are. Without it, the list uses your rough area.
  4. Tap a coach to open their profile. On the map, tap the round chip with the coach's initials in the middle of their circle, then View profile →.

How the list is ordered

Nearest coaches come first. At a similar distance, coaches with booking times open come first, then coaches on a paid plan.

What the labels mean

  • Open for bookings: the coach has published times, so you can pick a slot right away.
  • Times by request: no times published yet. You can still message the coach and agree on a time.
  • Verified and the other badges: see What do the badges on a coach mean?

Where coaches train

A circle of about 500 metres shows roughly where a coach trains. You see the exact address once your booking is confirmed.

On a coach's profile

  • Book a session: pick a length and a time; see How do I book a session with my coach?
  • Message coach: write a few lines. It reaches the coach as a request to take you on; see What happens when I ask a coach to take me on?
  • Packages: several sessions at once, if the coach offers them.

Ask Ava

For example "is there a yoga coach in Frankfurt?". Ava searches the same list. She never sends a request for you; you do that on the coach's profile.
