How do I find an exercise or paste a plan?
Type a few letters in the exercise field to pick from about 250 exercises, or paste a whole plan as text with Paste a plan.
Wherever you type an exercise (a routine, a logged workout, a personal record) a list opens under the field.
Find an exercise
- Type a few letters, an abbreviation or what it works: "bp", "RDL", "Kurzhantel Brust" or "dumbbell chest" all find something. Umlauts are optional.
- With an empty field you see what you used recently, and a coach's own exercises on top.
- Not in the list? Keep typing and take the last row, Use "…" as your own exercise. Your own name always works.
- German and English names are the same exercise: Bankdrücken and Bench Press count as one personal record.
Paste a plan
- While you build a routine, press Paste a plan above the exercises.
- Paste your plan as text, one exercise per line, for example "Bench press 4x8 80 kg" or "Plank 3x45s".
- Fitiva reads every line: Recognised (an exercise it knows), Kept as you wrote it (your own name) or Please check (it could not read the numbers; the line stays as text and is marked).
- Has your text several days? Pick which one goes into this routine.
- Press Add … lines. Nothing is saved until you save the routine.
Messy text?
Press Paste with Ava, and Ava reads it for you. You check her lines the same way before anything goes in.
Good to know
- At most 60 lines at a time.
- Ava can also turn a plan you paste into the chat into a workout.
